Ran 2nd leg...so chasing start for the first racers on Sunday morning. I had an ok race...was smooth into all controls, although very hesitant and un-confident along most of the legs...I stopped a lot and was going slow to keep checking and be safe. I really need to gain confidence so I can run fast in races here :D Was a fun race!

25-manna!! Ran 1st for Linne team 4. Was a crisp morning so was hard on the lungs, but I ran safe...not fast, so was a bit behind, but no big mistakes. Fun relay!!

Ran first leg for OK Linne 4...was an ok run i guess...didnt make too many big mistakes, just a few small hesitations and some route choices...was actually quite fun to run...can't wait till im feeling a bit fitter and faster :)

Had a pretty bad start and made a few mistakes, then to #5, I really stuffed it! Lost so much time as I hesitated too much and confused myself...grr! The rest was just average I guess...was getting quite tired today during the race too :S

District night champs...was super hard! Haven't really orienteered in the night before, apart from Katoa Po events each year :P
Was kind of fun...but did some really bad route choices and ended up not knowing where I was and getting so confused, especially #2 and 7!!! arghh...so a lot of walking took place :P

A small weekend competition just south of Uppsala. Today was a middle and the long tomorrow. I had a pretty shitty run today. Very slow and hesitant to #1 and #2. 3, 4 and 5 were ok-ish. 6 was really bad...I lost about 3minutes. I was hesitant and slow along the leg as it was super hard to run in the rocky/bushy/grassy/soft terrain!! But when I approached the control, I came way too low! I actually think I was much lower down the hill than it shows on the GPS, mustn't have fixed it properly. 7 and 8 ok...then 9 was silly...I was going ok, but then near the control again I hesitated and started looking elsewhere and stopping with confusion etc...Bad direction to 10 and was on the other hill.
So overall not that great, but was still fun to run :) must improve on what I am doing wrong, and also get a lot fitter and faster and stronger!!!

Had a mass start loops race...such an awesome course set up :) split up pretty much the whole elite grade! was super fun! made a few errors in the beginning for my map order...but then it was ok...maybe could have run faster as i thought i was actually behind the lead groups, turns out i wasn't. Stuffed up 24, then that was where the others caught me, and Amber passed me...such a fun race! :D

Silly stupid mistakes in the Green at the start, then was just a bit slow for the rest of it and a little error at 10...also got stuck/lost time on 24...very average run

Last of the rogaine series out at Waiuku. I was pretty tired from the 14 mini Sprint races yesterday, but wasn't too bad...
Navigation was good I guess, tend to zone out on these rogaines though...it was a shame 70 was completely in the wrong place, as I lost a heap of time there...I went to it straight away, but then didn't know where to look...eventually got it (totally wrong) in the end...so then I wasn't sure how to finish up the rest of my route, so not as many points as I had hoped for...
oh well, was still fun :)
Foot a bit tender...especially racing in my crap inov8s :/

Didnt really go for the win/the points today as wanted to get some tough training in :P Completely screwed 59...none of the map makes sense in there, also with 47...never ended up actually getting it...was a bit slow in places, need to be more aggressive!!!
